Add CaterCom to the Dock
Steps for Mac · Safari (chosen).
- Open this site in Safari and sign in.
- In the menu bar choose File › Add to Dock…
- Name it CaterCom and click Add.
- Open CaterCom from the Dock or Launchpad, and sign in once in its window.
Needs macOS Sonoma (14) or newer. On older macOS, use Chrome or Edge below.
CaterCom opens in its own window without tabs or an address bar. Downloads go to your Downloads folder and ⌘P prints.
Optional Desktop shortcut: hold ⌘ and ⌥, then drag CaterCom from the Applications folder in your home folder to the Desktop.
Set up this store's collector
The collector is a separate program on one store computer (a Mac or a Windows PC). It reads orders from CMT and sends them to Catering Command. You only need it once per store, and only on that computer; using CaterCom does not need it.
- It is connected with a one-time pairing code from the store setup checklist. Nothing is installed or turned on from this page.
- Customer text messages go through Apple Messages, which needs a supported Mac signed in to the store's catering phone. A Windows PC can collect orders but cannot send Apple Messages.
- A downloadable collector installer is not published yet. The pilot administrator installs the approved package on the store computer.
Only a Director or Manager can pair a store computer. Sign in as a Director or Manager to set up the collector.
